Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)
- Is a more aggressive form of skin cancer
- The most important cause is too much exposure to sun
- People with a weak immune system and people with organ transplants are at higher risk of developing SCC
- Usually appears as a scaly raised area with a red inflamed base
- Surgery is the recommended treatment
